Bag It is available on a special Educational DVD intended for use by teachers, librarians and educators of all kinds. Our Educational DVD includes two versions of the film on one disc: a 45-minute and a 65-minute. Each is edited to fit short class periods and to accommodate post-film discussion.
Bag It's 45-minute educational cut focuses on the politics of bags, single-use disposables, waste and recycling and the health of our oceans. The 65-minute cut also includes an additional chapter on human health. Both versions are appropriate for kids in fourth grade and up.
All purchases of Bag It's Educational DVD come with public performance and library circulation rights, as well as a 20-page, digital curricular guide complete with lesson plans and teacher resources.

Bag It Educational Grant
A Bag It Educational Grant exists to help mitigate the licensing fees for budget stressed K-12 schools (or K-12 student programs) who serve low-income populations and for whom licensing fees would otherwise be prohibitive. If you are interested in applying, please send a brief, one-page letter, as a Word attachment, to the attention of Bag It Education Grant, explaining in a bit more detail your plans to use the film with your students, and your need for a waiver of the fee. Letters should be sent to michelle@reelthing.us.
